Meet your employees
Who the employees are
The employees are 18 specialists, each with a name and a field: a travel planner, a mechanic, a legal consultant, a teacher and more. You find them in Hiring, a seat in the bar at the bottom of the app. Hire the ones you want and they become your team. Then you can write to them, call them, or ask them to make a finished piece such as a plan, a report or a CV.
When a question needs facts, an employee looks things up before answering. The desk shows Looking into it first and each lookup, such as Web search, News, Weather or Prices & rates, then whether it found something.

The Hiring page sorts the employees into four groups, with a chip for each at the top: Work, Life, Home and Learn.

Hire your first employee
- Tap Hiring in the bar.
- Choose a group chip, or stay on All.
- Tap an employee to open their card. It shows what they do and two good first things to ask.
- Tap the button with their name, for example Hire Emma. The app confirms with Emma is on your team.
If you tap one of the two first questions instead, the employee is hired and the question is sent in one step.
Once you have hired someone, a Your team chip appears and your team is listed first. There is no limit on how many employees you hire. To let one go, open their desk, tap ⋯ and choose Let Emma go. The app asks first, and the pieces they made stay on your phone.
What you can do with them
- Write to them. On a desk, type in the box that says Message Emma…. Tap + to add Photos, a Camera shot or Files, several at a time. See Hire someone and ask them.
- Ask for a finished piece. Tell them what to make. You watch it move through Take in, Plan and Build, and the result waits under Delivered on their desk. See Get, share or delete a report.
- Call or video. Each employee talks in their own voice, with the words on screen. Turn on the camera to show them something. See Call or video an employee.
- Hold a meeting. Seat two or three of your team at one table while the secretary takes notes, and get the minutes at the end. See Hold a meeting and get the minutes.
- Lessons for a child. Noah, the Teacher, gives lessons to a child. The phone stays in the lesson until a grown-up ends it. See Lessons for a child with the Teacher.
- Start from what is going on. If you are not sure who to ask, begin from What's going on? on the Hiring page. See Start from what's going on.
Four slow days in Istanbul next month. Where do I start?Plans, credits and memory
You can hire the employees on any plan. Plan prices are on the Pricing page.
- Credits. Hiring has no limit, and each reply is billed like any chat. Work beyond a basic chat uses credits. Professional, Ultimate and Max include a weekly allowance and can buy more. See How credits work.
- Starter. Every screen is open, Hiring included, and the employees' work runs on credits Nourva gives you. Starter includes no credits and no memory. When no credits are left, the app says You're out of credits.
- Limits. Some work has a daily limit. When you reach it, the app says That's the limit for today.
- Memory. The employees follow Nourva's memory and have no switch of their own. They use what Nourva remembers when your memory is on Fully cloud. With Fully on-device, or with memory turned off, they do not. See Turn memory on and choose what remembers.
Take a tour
The tour walks you through the employees step by step, from the groups and hiring to finished pages, calls, meetings and lessons.
- Open Hiring.
- Tap ⋯ at the top right.
- Choose Take a tour, the first row.
Tap Next to move on, or Let me try to practise a step. Practice changes nothing in your account. Tap Close the tour when you want to stop.
