What the Financial Market is for
The Financial Market is where Nourva keeps prices and charts: stocks, indices, crypto, currencies and commodities, with each venue's hours shown in your own time. Use it to see how the day is going, look up a market by its name, read a chart and follow the markets you care about on a watchlist.
You need to be signed in. A guest who opens it sees Sign in to power this; tap Sign in to carry on.
- Tap Apps.
- On Your spaces., tap Financial Market.
- Choose a tab: Markets, Watchlist, Analyst or Alerts.
The search button beside the tabs, Search markets, finds any market. To see the screens first, open the ⋯ menu and choose Take a tour. The Analyst and price alerts have their own guides, linked at the end.
Read the Markets tab
The Markets tab is your day at a glance. It starts with the venues, then tiles for the US indices and the main index of each of your markets, with gold, oil and Bitcoin, then these sections.

| Heatmap | Tiles sized by value traded and coloured by today's move, grouped by sector. Each tile also carries an arrow and a sign, so a move is never colour alone. Choose All, US, one of your markets or Crypto, and tap a tile to open that market. |

| Sectors | The average move today for each sector. |
| Crypto | Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP and BNB. |
| Currencies & commodities | EUR/USD, USD/JPY, GBP/USD, gold, silver and crude oil. |
| Top stories | The latest headlines for the US market and the first of your markets, when there are any. |
Tap Your markets to choose which venues you see. The US market is always on; add more, from your region or anywhere else on the list, and the app tells you when you reach the limit. Tap Display to choose whether charts open in Simple or Pro, whether a change shows as Percent or Change, and how numbers are written.
Find a market by its name
- Tap Search markets.
- Type a company or coin name, or its symbol, in Name or symbol.
- Narrow the list with All, Stocks, Crypto, Indices, FX or Futures, or with a chip for one of your markets.
- Tap a result to open its page, or tap its star to add it to your Watchlist.
AppleEach result shows the name, the symbol and the exchange. If nothing matches, the app suggests trying the ticker.
Read a market's page
A market's page opens with its price and today's change, then the chart. Simple gives you the range chips, from 1D to MAX, with buttons to add the market to your Watchlist, set an alert and Ask Nourva. Switch to Pro for the chart tools:
- Chart type offers Line, Area, Baseline, Candles, Hollow, Heikin Ashi and Bars.
- Indicators switches on Volume, Moving averages, Bollinger bands, VWAP, Nourva levels, RSI 14 and MACD.
- Draw adds a trend line, a horizontal line or a Fibonacci. Clear drawings removes them.
- Full screen gives the chart the whole display. Pinch to zoom and double-tap to reset.
- Under ⋯ More, the compare switch plots a second line from the same start: the main index of a stock's market, or Bitcoin for a coin. The row names what it compares with.
Under the chart you find Key stats, Nourva's read (Trend, Momentum and Volume), News when there is any, and About. In ⋯ More you can Share chart, check Trading hours and open Data & sources, which lists every number and where it came from.
Crypto markets add Market depth, around the clock. Choose Book for bids and asks, Depth for the cumulative chart or Trades for the latest trades. Only crypto markets have them.
Keep watchlists
Your Watchlist is saved with your account, so every device you sign in on shows the same lists. You can keep several lists, and each list holds a limited number of markets. The app tells you when you reach a limit.
- Tap the star on a market's page or in a search result to add it to Main. To use another list, open ⋯ More on the market's page and choose Add to a list.
- Open the Watchlist tab and tap a chip to switch lists. Tap + New list to make one, then name it.
- Tap Add symbols to open the search and find more markets.
- Tap a price to switch between percent and change. Swipe a row to set an Alert or Remove it. Undo brings a removed market back.
Tap the table or card button at the top to switch between Table view and Card view. Tap Edit order to rearrange, then Done. To rename or delete a list you made, tap its chip once more to open Rename list and Delete list. Main stays.
Where the prices come from
Prices come from the exchanges through Nourva's market service, and the times you see are yours. Some venues delay their feed, so a price can run behind the exchange. Crypto prices, depth and trades come from the exchange through the same service. Nourva's read is worked out from the price history, and Data & sources shows the figures behind it.
If a chart does not load, tap Try again. If a crypto book is unavailable, the app says so; check again in a moment.
