Show it you once

The Designer's photo studios make pictures of you. You show it your face once, with three quick photos, and every studio uses them, so each picture comes back as you. Open Apps and tap The Designer. You need to be signed in.

Your photos stay on your phone. Each look takes a copy to the studio, kept with that look; deleting the look removes it.

Take your three photos

The first time you open the Designer, a card says First, show me you.

1. Tap Show me you.
2. Put your face in the oval. When Light, Sharp and Still all show a check, the camera takes the photo by itself.
3. To take it yourself, tap the shutter button. To use pictures you already have, tap Pick from Photos.
4. Keep going until the three slots are full. Three is best.
5. When you see That's you., tap Done.

If a photo has no face in it, the sheet says No face found in this one. Tap Take another, or Keep it to use it anyway. The same sheet has the switch Keep my skin real (No smoothing, no filter).

To change your photos, open ⋯ and choose You. Tap a photo to take it again, or tap Remove my photos from this phone.

Make your first look

Under What to make, each door is a studio. These are the photo studios:

1. Tap a studio.
2. Tap an example you like.
3. Read the button: Make it me, with the price in credits. In Memories it reads Make it mine.
4. Tap it. In Memories, choose the old photo you want restored.

In Wedding, Trip and Moments, tap Add who's with you before you make. Add photos of them, switch on They agreed to this (Only people who said yes) and tap Add them. The button then reads Make us.

You can also describe a photo of you in the box at the bottom, Describe a photo, or bring one, or tap + to bring a picture you like. Your product has its own door, Products.

To make several looks at once, tap the round button on each example of you that you want. On the Designer's first screen, Make opens Your set, which lets you take any look out; its own Make button shows the total price. Inside a studio, Make shows the total price and starts at once.

While it develops

Your looks develop like prints. The screen shows Reading your photos, Setting the scene, then Developing 1 of 3 for a set of three. Keeps going if you leave. You'll get a note. When the look is ready it opens by itself; if you left, Nourva tells you Your look is ready.

The price shows on the button before anything is spent. If a look does not come out, the screen says Not charged., and Try again shows its price before you tap it. If your credits fall short, A little more credit shows what the look needs and what you have. An hourly limit on making looks also exists; the app tells you when you reach it. See Credits.

Hold, change, use

On a finished look:

• Compare: when the screen shows Hold to see your photo or Hold to see the original, press and hold the picture to see the photo it came from.
• Change it in words: type in Say a change…. The price appears above the box; the change makes a new look, and this one stays.
• Use it: five sizes, free: Profile photo, Post, Story, Wallpaper and Print. Tap one to share it, or tap Share all 5.
• Save: opens your phone's share sheet so you can keep the file.
• More: the ⋯ button offers Make it move and Another look, each with its price, and Delete, which asks first.

Your work

Open ⋯ and choose Your work. Your recent works from the photo studios stay there for a while; a new one takes the place of the oldest. What you make in the other studios is listed below them, under From the Studio, where your latest works stay for a while. A work still on its way shows Developing; tap it to watch it.

To remove a work, open it, tap ⋯, choose Delete and confirm. Undo appears for a moment if you change your mind.
