Invitations your guests answer from a link

One link, answered from any phone

Use Invitations in the Designer for a wedding, a birthday, Eid or any day that matters. Describe the day, and Nourva makes the pieces you pick: a card, a story, a film with music, and an answer page.

Your guests open the link and answer on the page. They need no app and no sign-in. You read every answer in Replies.

You need to be signed in. Making an invitation spends credits, and the price is on the button before you tap it.

Make the invitation

1. Open Apps in the bottom bar, choose The Designer, and tap Invitations under What to make.
2. Pick the occasion: Wedding, Engagement, Birthday, Graduation, Baby, Eid, Gala or Dinner.
3. Tap Who, then type the names in the box at the bottom of the screen.
4. Tap Where, then type the place in the box.
5. Under When, pick the date and the time.
6. Under Languages, choose the languages you need; the app tells you when you reach the limit. Your app's language is chosen at first.
7. Under Style, choose Classic, Modern, Floral, Playful or Minimal.
8. To add anything else, type it in the box, such as “gold foil, no flowers”.
9. To give Nourva a look you love, tap + and choose Take a photo or Choose a photo. Its colours and mood go into the design, never its people.
10. Tap Next. If a field is empty, the screen says Add who, when and where first.
11. Choose what to make: Card, Story, Film · with music and Answer page. All four are on at first. Switch off the ones you do not want.
12. Tap Make it. The button shows the price.

While the pieces are made, the screen says It keeps going if you leave. If you stay, the Ready screen opens when it is done.

When it is ready

The Ready screen shows each piece: The card, The story, the film and Answer page. Tap the answer page to see it as your guests will. The words shows the text in each language you chose, so you can read or copy it.

• Send to guests opens your phone's share sheet with the card and a line asking guests to answer from the link.
• Print makes a PDF of the card and opens the share sheet.
• Save under the film keeps one file with the names, the date and the music in it.
• More (⋯) has Save for every piece, and Delete.

To change how it looks, type the change in the box at the bottom, Say a change…:

The change goes to the pieces you made, for the price shown in the box. The answer page is not made again, so your guests keep the same link and their answers.

See who is coming

When you made an answer page, tap Replies on the Ready screen. The screen Who's coming. counts Coming and Can't come, and Guests: the people coming with those who said yes. Each row shows a name with Coming, Coming · 2 guests or Can't come, and the guest's note.

• Tap Refresh to load new answers.
• Type in the box to find a guest. A name works, and so do Coming and Can't come.
• Tap Remind to send the link again through the share sheet.

To see who has not answered, tap Add your guest list, then Type the names or Paste from the clipboard. Put one name on each line, or separate them with commas. The app tells you if a list is too long.

With a list, the third count becomes Waiting, and the names still to answer show Not answered yet. A Remind button above the box shows how many are left, and you can ask the box “who hasn't answered?”. Clear the list asks first, and the answers stay.

What your guests see

The page shows the headline, the names, when and where, and the invitation's note, in the first language you chose. The form under it asks:

• Will you come? with Yes, I'll be there or Sorry, I can't.
• Your name.
• Guests, for the people coming with them.
• A note (optional).

After Send, the page says Thank you. Your answer is in. From the same phone, a guest can tap Change my answer. If someone already answered with the same name from another phone, the page asks for a surname too. The form's own words are in English.

Limits and good to know

• The answer page stays open for a limited time after it is made. Then guests see This invitation is no longer open.
• A page holds a limited number of answers. After that, guests see This invitation has no room for more answers.
• Answers sent too quickly from one place are limited. A guest who sees Too many answers from here in the last hour. can try again after a while.
• You pay only for the pieces that come out. If a piece cannot be made, the app says so and it is not charged.
• The Designer keeps your latest works. When newer works push an invitation out, its answer page closes with it.
