Your privacy and device permissions

Read how Nourva handles what you share, see why it asks for each iPhone permission, and change a permission whenever you like.

Where to find it

One page in the app explains what Nourva does with what you share, and why it may ask for your microphone, camera, location and other permissions. It also opens Nourva's legal terms.

  1. Tap ⋯ at the top, then Settings.
  2. Tap Privacy & Security.

The page has two groups. Nourva holds Your data & privacy and iPhone permissions. Legal holds Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and AI Terms.

Your data & privacy

Tap Your data & privacy to read, in plain words, how Nourva handles what you share.

  • What is processed: your requests and anything you attach, such as text, files and photos, and your voice or camera while you use them. When memory is on, the context Nourva keeps for you is processed too.
  • Where: on Nourva's servers, and with trusted third-party AI service providers that process your information to serve you. The current providers are listed in the Privacy Policy.
  • Our commitments: Nourva does not sell your information and does not use it for advertising.
  • Your controls: what Nourva remembers, and how to export or delete it, is in Nourva Mind › Memory & permissions. You can withdraw your agreement at any time by deleting your account in Settings › Account.

Change a permission

  1. Open Settings › Privacy & Security › iPhone permissions.

What Nourva never asks for

Under We never ask for, the page names two things: access to your local network, and tracking you across other apps. Nourva also cannot read Mail or WhatsApp on your iPhone, because iOS does not allow it.
