Receipts and undo
What a receipt is
Each time Arachne acts rather than reads, she keeps a receipt: a call through a linked account or one of your APIs, a reminder she sets, a task she schedules, a file or picture she makes. A receipt says what she did, to what, when and for which mission. Where an action can be reversed, the receipt is also where you undo it.
Open your receipts
- Tap ⋯ in Arachne and choose Tools.
- Open More, then Receipts.
The list shows your recent receipts, newest first. To find one, type a word in Search the receipts.
What each receipt records
Tap a receipt to open it.
| Line | What it shows |
|---|---|
| When | The date and time she acted |
| Tool | The hand she used |
| Action | What she did |
| Target | What she did it to: an address, a title or a file name |
| Mission | The mission it belongs to |
| Status | Can be undone, Final — nothing to undo, or undone |
Copy details copies the receipt, to keep it or send it on.
Undo an action
Undo works on the actions that can be reversed: a reminder she set is cancelled, and a task she scheduled stops.
- Open the receipt.
- Tap Undo, then Confirm.
You then see Undone — the action was reversed., and the receipt is marked undone. If the action can no longer be reversed, you see Couldn't undo — it may no longer be reversible. Every other action shows Final — nothing to undo.
A mission's full record
Receipts are one part of the record each mission keeps: its time, its steps, its receipts, its files and its sources. The steps sheet shows the plan in Tasks, what she made in Files and each step with its time in Log. Her reports name the sources she read. Together they show what she did, what she found and what she changed.
