Received files and transfers

Find the files that reached your phone through Nourva Drop, open, share or delete them, follow a transfer, and clear the temporary copies.

Find what reached your phone

A file a linked device sends you lands inside Nourva on this phone and stays there until you delete it. Files already on the phone open even when you are offline.

  1. Open Apps and tap Nourva Drop.
  2. Look under On this phone. The number beside it is how many files you hold.
  3. Tap a file to open its page.

Each row shows the file's size, the day it arrived and, when known, the device it came from («From» and the device's name). Thumbnails appear when Show previews is on; they are drawn on this phone only.

When you hold enough files, a row of filters appears: All, Images, Documents, Media and Links. The list shows only the first files; tap Show all for the rest and Show less to fold it back.

To send files from this phone, see Nourva Drop: send files to your devices.

Limits and temporary copies

A file waits in the cloud as a temporary copy until the other device receives it. How large one file can be and how much transfer space you have depend on your plan. Temporary copies are kept for a set number of days. See Plans at a glance.

To see your figures, open Nourva Drop and tap Storage under Settings. It shows how much of your transfer space is in use, Per file, Your plan and Temporary copies are kept for. Files kept on this phone are not counted there.

When you send from this phone, a file that is too big brings The file is over the limit. with the size your plan allows; choose a smaller file. When the space is full, you see Not enough space.; tap Manage space to open Storage.

Clear the temporary copies

Clearing frees transfer space taken by copies still waiting to be received.

  1. Open Nourva Drop and tap Storage.
  2. Tap Clear the temporary copies.
  3. Tap Clear the space to confirm, or Keep the space to cancel.

Copies waiting to be received go. If one did not reach the other device, send the original again. The transfer log keeps its rows.

If a file does not arrive

  • Open Nourva Drop on this phone. A linked device is not always open, so a file sent while the app was closed waits as a sealed copy until it is received or its temporary copy expires.
  • If Needs you shows This phone's key changed, nothing is sent or received. Tap it, choose Reset this phone's key, then link your computer again. Files already on this phone stay.
  • If a device under Your devices shows Key changed, sending to it is paused until you link it again.
  • When you see You're offline, files already on this phone open as usual, and transfers continue when the connection is back.
