Your first minutes with Nourva
When you open Nourva
Nourva opens on Chat, ready for your first question. You can try it before you have an account: without one you can chat only, with 3 messages a day on that device. An account is free to start, with no card needed, and it opens the rest of Nourva.
To sign in or create your account:
- Tap ⋯ at the top of the screen, then Settings.
- On the Sign in to Nourva card, tap Sign in.
- Choose how to sign in, or create your account.
The first time that screen opens, Nourva shows Welcome to Nourva. It says three things in plain words. Made for you: Nourva uses AI to answer you, write for you and get things done. Processed to help you: your messages, files, photos, voice and camera are processed by Nourva and its trusted AI service providers to serve you, and are never sold or used for ads. You're in control: you manage memory, incognito chats and your data at any time. Tap About your data & privacy… to read more, or tap Continue to agree and go on. Choose your language
The app starts in English. To change it:
- Tap ⋯ at the top, then Settings.
- Tap Language.
- Tap your language. There are 20, each written in its own words.
The app changes at once, and Arabic and Urdu read from right to left. Whatever the app's language, Nourva answers in the language you write in. Nourva One speaks the language you speak to her, and falls back to the one you pick here when she is unsure, unless you choose a fixed language inside Nourva One.

Take a tour
In Chat, tap ⋯. The first row is Take a tour, a short walk through the whole app. Tap Next to move on, or Close to leave at any time. The Designer and the Financial Market each have their own Take a tour in their ⋯ menus.
Ask your first question
Tap the box that says Ask me anything, write your question and send it. Ask the way you would ask a friend who knows a lot:
Plan three dinners for this week that take under 30 minutes each.To search the web, think longer or add a photo or a file, tap + beside the box.
With an account, every plan includes free basic chats each day: Starter 10, Professional 30, Ultimate 40, Max 50. A basic chat is a text message with no search, thinking, file, picture or voice. Everything beyond a basic chat runs on credits. Starter includes no credits of its own; credits Nourva gives you work on any plan. Read Free chats every day.
Talk to Nourva One
Nourva One is Nourva's voice. Her bars sit at the top of every screen, in the middle.
- To talk, tap her bars and speak. She answers out loud, and you can cut in whenever you like.
- To open her full sheet, press and hold the bars, or pull them down.
- To type instead, tap the pencil beside her bars and write. Her answer comes back in writing, under the bar.
You need to be signed in to talk to her, and talking uses credits.
Your memory
Nourva Mind is Nourva's memory of you. It comes with Professional, Ultimate and Max, and on those plans it switches on by itself the first time you use Nourva. A card tells you so, with Got it and Turn it off. To choose where it lives, tap Nourva Mind in the bar at the bottom, then Memory & permissions. Read Turn memory on and choose what remembers.
Where to go next
The bar at the bottom of the screen has a seat for each part of Nourva.

Without an account, each of these asks you to sign in first (Sign in to power this). Once you are signed in, they open.
