How Nourva learns every night
Learning as you go
While your memory is on, Nourva learns from what you do with it: your chats, your talks with Nourva One, Arachne's missions, your work in the Office and your employees. Each part with a switch on Memory & permissions learns only while that switch is on, your employees follow Nourva's memory, and a chat in Incognito teaches it nothing. See Turn memory on and choose what remembers.
Every memory keeps where it came from, such as you told me or I understood it. A guess is never stored as a fact: it waits under My hunches until it is confirmed.
The night's work
Each night, while you sleep, Nourva reads back over the day and tidies what it knows:
- It merges what you said more than once into one memory.
- It retires what has changed, and keeps the reason in its history, so today's truth leads.
- It links memories that belong together.
- It closes plans whose day has passed.
Each night leaves a receipt. On the Nourva Mind screen, the Last Night reading shows what the night built, and The night opens the Night monitor: the hours it ran, how many memories it swept and refreshed, how many became certainty, and the Receipt no. Before the first night, it says The night's numbers have not reached me yet.
The mood line
Each night, Nourva also writes one line about how your days have been. It is honest and never a score. Your own words outrank its guess, and when nothing shows, the line stays empty.
The line sets the tone when the chat, Nourva One, Arachne, the Office and the Financial Market's analyst talk with you. Nourva does not bring it up on its own. Ask, and it tells you:

Each day, the Chat home asks How are you, really? and the seat at the top reads Daily mood. Choose one of five words, from Heavy through Low, Okay and Calm to Bright:
- Slide up or down along the five words, or tap one, to choose it.
- Tap again, or tap Set, to keep it.
- Nourva answers I hear you., and the card says Set for today.
The card shows once, then comes back after a while. If you have not given your word, the Emotional Weather reading on the Nourva Mind screen says Tap to tell me. Nourva keeps your word of the day with your memory, and never turns it into a score.
The living document
Nourva also keeps a document about you, in its own words. It is rewritten every night, it helps in every conversation, and it is part of your export. On the Nourva Mind screen, My document of you shows its length and when it was last rewritten.
