Find, pin and share your chats
Your chats, in one list
Every chat you have with Nourva is saved in History. Open it to find an old chat and carry on, pin the ones you return to, rename them, or delete the ones you no longer need. To show a conversation to someone, Share Chat sends it as text.
History is kept on this device, for the account you are signed in with. It does not move to your other devices, and signing out of Nourva clears it from this one.
Find a chat
- On Chat, tap ⋯ at the top.
- Tap History. Chat history opens, with your pinned chats first and then the most recent, each with when you last used it.
- To narrow the list, tap Search chats… and type part of a chat's name. A new chat is named after the start of your first message.
- Tap a chat to open it and carry on where you stopped.
If nothing matches, the list says No chat matches that search.
Pin, rename or delete a chat
In Chat history, swipe a chat sideways, or press and hold it. Three buttons appear: Pin, Rename and Delete.
- Pin keeps the chat at the top of the list and confirms with Pinned to the top. Tap it again to unpin.
- Rename asks for a Chat name.
- Delete turns the row into Chat removed from history with Undo. Tap Undo within a few seconds to bring the chat back to the list. After that it is deleted from this device. If it was the chat you had open, it closes at once.
Start a new chat, or step back
- Start fresh: tap ⋯ › New Chat. The chat you were in stays in History.
- Step out of a chat: tap the back arrow at the top of the chat. The chat closes and stays in History, and your next message starts a new one.
To pick an old chat up again, open it from History.
An Incognito chat never appears in History and is erased when you close it. See Chat in Incognito.
After a screenshot
On iPhone and iPad, take a screenshot while a chat is open and a Share conversation pill appears with the note Screenshot taken. Tap it to open the share sheet with the conversation as text. If you leave it, the pill goes away after a few seconds.
