Alerts, promises and your morning brief
She keeps an eye out
Some of what Nourva One does for you carries on after the conversation ends. She can watch a price or a web page and tell you when it moves, keep a list of what you said you would do, and gather your day into one short brief. Ask for any of it in your own words while you talk to her.
Ask her to watch something
Tell her what to watch and when to tell you. She sets up the alert and confirms it.
| Watch | She tells you when |
|---|---|
| A price | A stock, a currency, a cryptocurrency or an index goes above or below the level you name. |
| A public web page | The page changes, starts to show a phrase you name, or stops showing it. |
Tell me if the euro goes above 1.20 dollars. When an alert goes off, it reaches you as a notification, even when Nourva is closed. She checks at a regular pace unless you ask for another one. You can keep several alerts at a time.
- Ask "What are you watching for me?" to hear your alerts and the news from the ones that went off.
- Say "Stop watching the euro" to end one.
Promises she keeps for you
When you say you will do something, such as "I have to send the offer to Sami tomorrow", she writes it down quietly, without asking. Your open promises come back in your brief until you mark them done.
- Ask "What did I promise?" to hear the ones still open.
- Tell her when you have done one, for example "I sent the offer", and she marks it done.
What's on today
Ask her, and she gives you your day in one spoken brief, the most important first.
What's on today?| Your brief holds | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Today's events | Your calendar, once you allow calendar access on iPhone or iPad |
| Today's reminders | The reminders you asked Nourva for |
| Open promises | What you told her you would do |
| Alerts | The ones that went off recently |
| Standing tasks | What Arachne runs for you today |
Your morning brief
Each morning, in your local time, Nourva sends the same brief as a notification: Your morning brief is ready. It comes on mornings when there is something to tell you.
The morning brief needs calendar access on your iPhone or iPad. To have your day ready before you open the app, Nourva keeps a short copy of your calendar in your account: each event's title, times and place, never its notes. The copy is refreshed when you talk to Nourva One, so the morning brief pauses after a while without a conversation. What the copy holds is in Your voice and privacy.
