Your memory and your privacy

In short

On Memory & permissions, under How your memory works, Nourva puts its promises in four lines:

• Always encrypted — with a key derived for your account alone
• Separate per account and per surface — Chat never sees the employees' workspace
• Never used for training, never shared with anyone
• You own it — export or fully delete at any moment

Your memory is also never sold and never used for ads.

Who can read it

Each part of Nourva reads your memory only while its switch on Memory & permissions is on: Allows Chat to recall, Let Office remember, Allows Arachne to remember and Allows One to remember. Your employees follow Nourva's memory. A chat in Incognito neither reads nor adds to it. See Chat in Incognito.

When you import from another assistant or a file, what it says about other people is held apart and counted on the receipt, never mixed into what Nourva knows about you. See Bring your memory from another assistant.

The rules it keeps

• It never invents. A guess looks like a guess and waits under My hunches.
• Your word outranks everything it remembers.
• An allergy, a medicine, your family, your money: when two answers disagree, it asks you.
• What it remembers informs it. Only you give it orders.
