Ask the Analyst

Ask the Analyst about any market, attach its chart as a picture, read the plan and the counter-case, and come back to past conversations. It is not financial advice.

What the Analyst is for

The Analyst answers your questions about a market in the Financial Market. It reads the chart with the engine's numbers, so you can ask what a chart says, what changed, or what would change the picture.

It is not financial advice, and Nourva never places trades. On a market's page, Nourva's read carries the tag Engine · not advice, and the Analyst's plan card carries Not advice. A plan is a way to read a chart; it says nothing about the odds.

You need to be signed in, and each answer uses credits. See How credits work.

Ask a question

  1. Open Apps › Financial Market.
  2. Tap the Analyst tab.
  3. Check the market shown at the top, with Daily beside it. To read another one, tap it and choose a market.
  4. Type your question in Ask about any market and tap the send arrow.

Before your first question you can tap a ready one, such as How is the market today? or What moved my watchlist?, or the one that reads the chart of the market shown. Under the latest answer, three more ask the next question for you: What changed since last week?, Test a scenario, and Compare with followed by a reference market such as its main index.

Example
What would make this read wrong?

The Analyst answers in the language you write in.

Attach the chart as a picture

The Analyst can look at the chart itself, not only at its numbers.

  1. Tap Attach beside the box.
  2. Choose Attach chart image.
  3. When Chart image attached shows, type your question and send it.

Nourva draws the daily chart of the market shown at the top as a picture, with its volume and averages, and sends it with your next question only. To take it off before you send, tap Remove image. The same menu also holds Pick a market, Past conversations and New conversation.

Read the answer

When the engine has the market's numbers, a plan card comes first, then the Analyst's words. The card comes from the engine's own levels at the moment you ask. Its top line names the engine's signal and the trend, beside Not advice.

LineWhat it is
EntryThe last price when you asked.
InvalidationThe level that would show the plan is wrong: below support on a long basis, above resistance on a short one.
TargetThe next level the plan aims for, with its R: the reward for each unit of risk.

A line under the card gives the sum behind R and ends: Geometry only — it says nothing about the odds.

The counter-case follows the words. It says what would change the read, for example a daily close below a named price.

Tap Open the evidence to see The evidence: the last price, the previous close, the 20-day and 50-day averages, RSI 14, ATR 14, the nearest support (S1) and resistance (R1), and the history in daily bars, each with where it came from. The last price may run behind the exchange. The Analyst may explain these numbers; it can't change them.

Past conversations

Nourva keeps your recent conversations for a while after your last question in them, and a long one keeps its latest questions.

  1. Tap Past conversations at the top of the Analyst.
  2. Tap a conversation to reopen it and carry on.
  3. To delete one, tap Edit, then the delete button beside it. It goes at once.
  4. To delete them all, tap Clear all, then Delete all.
  5. To start fresh, tap New conversation.

A reopened answer shows the market, the price it was answered at and when. Open the evidence appears only on a new answer.

The Analyst finishes each answer before it starts the next. If you send, open a conversation or start a new one while an answer is still arriving, the app says One answer at a time — this one is still coming. Wait for it to finish.

If something goes wrong

  • The analyst couldn't answer just now. Try again. Tap Try again.
  • The answer was cut short. Tap Try again to ask the same question again.
  • Add the picture again, then send. A question you asked with a picture goes back into the box without it. Attach the chart again, then send.
  • That didn't work. Try again. after Attach chart image: the chart could not be drawn. Try once more.
  • Couldn't load your conversations. Close Past conversations and open it again.
