Posts, promo films and sound
Three things you can make
In the Designer you can make a post from your own words, a promo film that Nourva writes, films and scores, and sound on its own: music, a voice line or a sound logo. All three start under What to make.
- Tap Apps on the bottom bar, then tap The Designer.
- Under What to make, tap Posts or Promo.
You need to be signed in and online. If you have a brand kit, your posts and promos use it: its name, its colours and, on a post, its logo. To start one, see Start a brand.
Make a post
A post is a finished image with your words on it, made once for each size you pick.
- Tap Posts. The post sheet opens.
- Under What it is about, say in a few words what the post is for.
- Under Your words, type what should appear on the post, one line for each phrase. Leave it empty for a post with no words.
- Under Sizes, choose one to three of Instagram 4:5, Story 9:16 and X 16:9.
- Tap Make. The button shows how many posts you get, one for each size, and their price in credits.

Say what the promo is for. Nourva writes the script, films the shots and scores the music.
- Tap Promo.
- Under Length, choose 6, 15 or 30 seconds. Each length shows its price.
- Under Shape, choose Vertical, Square or Wide. Square is for 6-second films only.
- For 15 and 30 seconds, under Sound, turn Music, Voice and Sound logo on or off. A 6-second film makes its own sound, so there is nothing to choose.
- Tap the language row to choose the language of the words on screen and the voice.
- In the box that asks What is this promo for?, type what the promo is for.
- Tap Make it. The price sits beside it.
A 15-second promo for my bakery's new cinnamon rolls, cosy and warmThe words on screen are always there, for anyone who cannot hear the film. If the promo should mention a price, a date or an offer, write it in your box: the script is written not to invent one. While the film is made, the page says It keeps going if you leave., so you can leave it and come back.
Sound on its own
To make sound without a film, tap Just sound on the promo screen and pick one. The menu shows each price before you choose.
| Choice | What you give | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Music | A description in the box (the mood, the instruments, where it plays) and a length of 10, 20 or 30 seconds. | A short instrumental piece. |
| Voice | A line to be spoken, and its language. | The line, spoken aloud. |
| Sound logo | Nothing to type. It needs a brand kit first. | A short sound for your brand. |
Music and voice are typed in the box at the bottom of the screen, the same box you use everywhere in the app.
Save the film
When the promo is done, it opens in a player with its words and captions. Tags above it list what the film carries: Words on screen, and Music, Voice or Sound logo when they were made.
- Tap Save. A sheet called Making one film opens, and the clips, the words and the sound are joined into one file.
- Keep the screen open until the bar is full.
- When Your film is ready appears, tap Share to send or save the file.
Stop on that sheet ends it and keeps nothing. Under Share, Captions file gives the captions as a file of their own, and Save in parts gives each clip and each sound as a separate file to edit elsewhere.
If the app leaves the screen before the film is joined, the sheet says it stopped. Tap Try again with the screen open, or tap Save in parts.
Tap Sizes to save the film in another shape: Vertical, Square, Portrait or Wide. The film is cropped to fill the frame, never letterboxed. To watch a promo again with its captions, open it from Your work and choose Play, with captions in its menu. Your work keeps your latest works for a limited time, so save what you want to keep.
Price, limits and problems
Everything here runs on credits, and the price shows before you spend. Credits Nourva gives you work on any plan. Professional, Ultimate and Max can also buy more.
- Parts that do not come out are not charged.
- Stop on the making page asks first. What is done stays, and nothing more is charged.
- A request can be turned down. The app says so: It was turned down. Other words may work.
- There is an hourly limit and a daily one. The app tells you when you reach either: You reached today's Studio limit. It opens again tomorrow.
