Nourva One in CarPlay
Nourva One in your car
Nourva One comes to CarPlay with the Nourva app on your iPhone. It needs iOS 26.4 or newer and uses the account your iPhone is signed in with. Everything happens by voice, with a few large buttons on the car's screen. Talking to her in the car uses credits, as it does on your phone.
Start a conversation
Connect your iPhone to the car, open Nourva on the car's screen and tap Talk. While she is live, Pause holds the conversation, Resume brings it back and End closes it. A short line on the screen tells you where she is, such as Let me think. or You can interrupt me anytime.
When no conversation is running, two buttons sit at the top of the screen:
- Shortcuts: Brief me, Interpreter, Minutes, Call, Directions and Talk, one tap each.
- Help › What I can do: the same doors, each with a line on what it does.
The car screen's words are in English, and she talks with you in your language.
Directions and stops
Say where you want to go, and the route opens in Apple Maps. Name Google Maps or Waze and she uses that one instead, when it is on your iPhone.
- A stop on the way. Ask for one, such as a coffee shop on your route, and she adds it without losing your destination.
- On to your destination. When you leave the stop, she offers to take you on, and the car screen asks Continue to «…»? with Continue and Not now.
- Back to your route. Ask her at any time.
She remembers the drive for a while. If you stop and turn the car off, she still knows where you were going when you come back.
Calls, your day and your answers
| Door | What she does |
|---|---|
| Call | Say who, and she places the call. The car screen asks Place this call? with Call and Not now. |
| Brief me | Your day, your meetings, your reminders, read aloud. |
| Interpreter | Two languages, one voice, while you talk with someone in the car. |
| Minutes | The car screen asks Take minutes of this conversation? Tap Start, and she listens now and writes it up after. |
When something needs your yes, the car screen shows it with two buttons, and a tap counts as your answer, as if you had said it. A decision from Arachne shows as Decision needed, with Approve, Deny and Details.
What waits until you park
While you drive, she puts no chart, picture, web page or document on your phone. She tells you what matters in a sentence instead, or offers to show it once you have parked.
In the car, Nourva uses your location only during a car conversation: for directions and for places along your route.
