Change your email or password

Wetin you fit change

Your email address and password belong to your one Nourva account, so any change wey you make for di app or for web go count for every device. Your plan, credits and chats dey stay with your account.

• Your email go change once you confirm am: with 6-digit code for di app, or with link for web.
• Your password dey change with few taps. If you open your account with Apple, Google or GitHub, you fit set password too, so you fit also sign in with your email.
• Password wey you forget dem go replace am through reset link wey we go send to your email.

Change your email for di app

For iPhone, iPad and Android:

1. Tap ⋯ for di top, then Settings › Account.
2. Tap Email.
3. Inside Change your email, put di new address. If di screen also ask for your Password or Authenticator code, put dem.
4. Tap Send code.
5. Put di 6-digit code wey we send go di new address, then tap Change email.

You go see Your email don change, and from dat time you go sign in with di new address. We go also send email to your old address to tell am about di change.

If your account no get password and no get two-factor authentication, as e dey normally be for account wey dem open with Apple, Google or GitHub, you go get two codes. Di screen go show Step 1 of 2: put di code wey we send go di address wey you dey use now and tap Continue, then put di code wey we send go di new address and tap Change email.

• Dem don sign out your other devices. Di device wey you take make di change go still dey signed in. Sign in again for di others with di new address.
• Code no reach. Check di inbox of di new address, then tap Send code again once di short wait finish. When di button talk No more codes, tap Use another email to start again.
• Di code wrong or e don expire. Di screen go tell you how many tries remain. Each code dey work for limited time. If you put wrong code too many times, or di code expire, di app go carry you go di first step with your new address still dey inside, so tap Send code again.
• Di app talk say Set password first. Your account dey sign in with im email address only, so e need password before di address fit change. Tap Set password: e go open nourva.ai, where you go ask for reset link and choose password. Then come back and change your email.

Change your email for web

1. Sign in for nourva.ai and open Account settings for your dashboard.
2. Inside Profile, beside Email address, pick Change.
3. Put di New email address and your Current password. If two-factor authentication dey on, put di 6-digit code from your authenticator app too.
4. Pick Request email change.
5. Open di link wey we send go di new address. E dey work for limited time.

Until you open di link, your current address go still dey active, and di page go show E dey wait verification with di new address.

Change dey for accounts wey dem open with email and password. If you open your account with Apple, Google or GitHub, di page go talk say your provider dey manage dis email; change am inside di app instead, as we explain above.

Change or set your password

Password need at least 8 characters, for di app and for web.

For di app

1. Tap ⋯ for di top, then Settings › Account.
2. Tap Password.
3. Put your Current password, then your New password, and type am again inside Repeat new password.
4. Tap Save Password. Di app go confirm with Your new password don save.

If you open your account with Apple, Google or GitHub, di screen go ask only for di new password, two times. Once dem save am, you fit also sign in with your email and dat password.

For web

1. Open Account settings.
2. Inside Password, pick Change password. If you open your account with Apple, Google or GitHub, di button go talk Set password, and di form go ask only for di new password, two times.
3. Put your Current password, your New password and Confirm new password. If two-factor authentication dey on, put di 6-digit code too.
4. Pick Save password.

When you change your password for web, dem go sign you out everywhere. Sign in again with di new password.

If you forget your password

1. For di sign-in screen, put your email address and continue go di password step.
2. Tap You forget password?. Di button go then talk Reset link don send.
3. Open di email wey we send you and follow di link to choose new password. Di link dey work for limited time.

For web, pick You forget password? for di sign-in page and put your email address; di same kind of link go reach you. If nothing come, check say na di address wey you take sign up you type.

If you open your account with Apple, Google or GitHub, you no need password: sign in with dat same button. Apple sign-in dey work only inside di iPhone and iPad app, so if you open your account with Apple, set password for your iPhone or iPad first, as we explain above, so you fit sign in anywhere else.
