#Settings overview

One place to shape how Nourva looks, speaks, behaves, and reaches you.

#Overview

Settings is where you tune Nourva to fit you. From here you choose its appearance, the language it speaks in, how much freedom it has to act, and how it lets you know when something needs you. Nothing here changes what Nourva can do — it changes how the experience feels and how much you stay in the loop.

These settings carry across every surface. Pick a theme and a language once and the whole interface follows, from Chat to Arachne to Office. Set a permission level and it governs how Nourva works on your behalf. The defaults are sensible; adjust what matters to you and leave the rest.

#What you can configure

  • Appearance and themes: the color identity and light or dark mode Nourva wears.
  • Language and right-to-left: the language Nourva speaks and replies in, with full layout mirroring for right-to-left languages.
  • Permissions and control: how much freedom Nourva has to act, from looking only to acting automatically.
  • Notifications: how Nourva tells you when a long job finishes or when it needs your attention.

#How to use it

  • Appearance and themes. Nourva's appearance is fully themeable, with a family of twelve color identities, each available in light and dark. Choose one that matches your taste and your environment; the whole interface, including right-to-left layouts, adapts cleanly. See Themes & appearance.
  • Language and right-to-left. Nourva speaks your language — well over a hundred of them. It replies in the language you use and mirrors its entire layout for right-to-left languages, so the experience is native rather than bolted on. See Language & right-to-left.
  • Permissions and control. You decide how much freedom Nourva has for any task, using clear levels: Look only, Plan first, Ask before acting, Work in your workspace, and Act automatically. Start cautious when exploring and give more freedom for long, well-understood tasks; you can change the level at any time, and stopping always works immediately. See Permissions & control.
  • Notifications. Nourva can notify you when something needs your attention or when a long job finishes, so you can step away from a running task and be told when it is done or when it needs you. See Notifications.

#Examples

text
Switch Nourva to dark mode.

You see the entire interface shift to a dark color identity, applied consistently across every surface.

text
Reply to me in Arabic from now on.

Nourva responds in Arabic and mirrors its layout for right-to-left reading, so the whole experience reads natively.

text
Ask me before making any changes.

Nourva moves to a level where it pauses for your permission before each change, keeping you in the loop step by step.

#Tips

  • Start at a cautious permission level when you are exploring a new kind of task, then raise it once you trust the work to flow.
  • Dark and light are both first-class — pick whichever suits your environment, and switch freely as it changes.
  • Turn on notifications before you start a long-running job so you can step away and be told the moment it finishes or needs you.
  • Your appearance and language choices follow you across every surface, so you only set them once.
